Find a good experienced professional barber or hair stylist for this. This really looks bad when not done correctly and perfectly. Having a nice mane to grab on to from behind can be usefull in repostioning to keep from falling off.

Nope, knowledge is all up to you. If you don't want to know what is in the candy jar, it is simple, just don't open the lid.
