No, because I always think I should be in Kentucky or Indiana and about 300 pounds more than I am. "Them there straps is real helpful and sophisticated like, and this here pocket is a mighty fine place to store my grizz."

I think you've captured the essential appeal of this garment. Wear this for anything but work, and its making a real statement.

Wearing overalls is part of my nonconformism. Just look at them as pants with something extra. :-)
