Beer v. Wine 3

Depends upon the occasion. Out at a pub with friends, of course the choice is beer, but if I have alcohol with dinner I'll always pick wine (exception to this rule: german food). I enjoy wine for its nuance and beer for its simplicity.

Unlike wine, beer is a meal.
Take it from a simpleton.

hah....wine can be a meal too....but I don't have the alcohol tolerance to pull that off.

Let me be the 1st RIA-dude to test that theory.

I almost made it to that point in Sonoma this past weekend thanks to rather generous tasting pours.

Back in 98, I was required to attend a wine class. By the time it was over, I wondered how I'd make it to the elevator. Took me about 30 minutes to find my car in the parking garage.

haha...while I was in the car after the last winery stop (back seat) I had to keep reminding myself to look straight ahead. I recall more details about that nauseous 20 minute drive than I do about the rest of the afternoon.

It was great wine (from what I'm told), and apparently somewhere along the way I tentatively agreed to be some girl's roommate (she was pouring wine...of course I agreed). :P

Ah wine....dangerous wine.

Was the puke more "oaky" or "grassy" on the finish?

lol...finish is right.

Fortunately I managed to contain myself this time...Next time I'll make use of the rinse bucket instead of actually drinking all the wine.
