I have had nothing but great experiences with Bank of America in the whole four years I have banked with them. I have a checking account, a savings account, and a credit card with Bank of America, and I have needed to call customer service many times to resolve issues, ask advice, etc. and I have always been listened to politely and helped in a timely fashion.

It strikes me that almost every single "1-Star" review:

A: Exhibits a weak grasp on the english language at best.
B: Feels like it was written by a bratty teenager who's mom stopped giving them allowance.
C: Tells stories about people who chose to ignore the basic premise of living within their means.

If a bank manager actually tells you to go fuck yourself, yeah, go ahead and switch banks. If they get frustrated with you because you want a free lunch though, who can blame them.

Maybe I've just been lucky, or maybe I just take better care of my finances than some of the bozos on this website, but I have moved all my financial dealings into Bank of America because I have received such good service from them.

If you want them to be a "good" bank. Be a "good" customer. That means paying fees when you violate their agreements.

I understand the frustration of the “1-Star" reviewers. I am a current Bank of America customer that is on the verge of closing my accounts.

I have been a customer of BOA since the beginning of the year and have experienced nothing but pain from overdraft fees. All are paid each and every time!!! The problem is BOA'S system I feel is not designed to be conducive to a customer with limited funds in their accounts on a regular basis.

If you are living paycheck to paycheck and using your bank card to make many weekly purchases you are setting yourself up to make the this institution richer!

I suggest if you must stay with BOA use their ATM to make weekly withdrawal’s and pay with cash. Never use your check card for nothing more than an ATM card. It will save you hundreds of dollars in overdraft fees.

If I go to Mc Donald's for lunch and I go over $1 my purchase should be declined end of story! Don't pay for my lunch and then charge me $35 dollars for doing so! That's a favor I don't need!! Check cards are not credit cards and shouldn't function as such!

I loathe Bank of America and I will be ending our irreconcilable relationship this week. It’s not for me!!

I agree totally with Irrving about your attitude! You might have better luck with BOA but that does not give you the right to insult everyone else! From the way you conducted yourself here and the customer service I have gotten from BOA I can only assume you are a BOA employee. Pompous is a good word to describe you!
