Boost Mobile 3

Ok, this is how it is...
Boost is actually owned by Sprint PCS. Remember Nextel? They own them too. Back in the day, everyone I ever knew to have a Nextel phone used the walkie-talkie about 90% of the time (with other Nextel users of course) because the voice part hardly ever worked. Years ago, Motorola had the idea of adding cell phone service to their walkie-talkies and manufactured phones exclusively for Nextel that were all prefixed with the letter "i" (eye) which stands for the iDen network. Nextel marketing was targeted at Business *not* Personal for the simple reason that you could sell the walkie-talkie idea as a quick way to communicate with your emplyee fleet. Just remember the commercials... For the love of God, avoid any Boost Mobile phone with a prefix of "i" as you will most likely be miserable. Unless of course, you really want a walkie-talkie, not a phone. There are other phones like the W385 phone that uses the Sprint PCS CDMA service. You will receive similar service as you would with a Sprint PCS phone. I worked at the Nextel office in Ft Lauderdale in new dealer training. Other than the fact I worked with a gorgeous girl with big boobs, I am glad I moved on...

Ok, so how do I get a NON iDEN phone and hooked up to work with boost??? Boosts website only offers iDEN phones. RADIO SHACK does not carry them either.
