I take this under consideration, but I'm not a freak about it.

"Accident" avoidance is much more important.

I believe one can avoid accidents being a responsible driver , but sometimes you are involved in an accident because of others fault. So Safety Ratings is an important aspect when getting a car :)

I am a little of a freak in terms of safety, because I have been in some bad experiences with cars.

I've had a few "bad experiences" with cars and bikes, but all could have been avoided had I been on the case at the time.
