TCF Bank 1

TCF bank is hands down the worst financial institution that I have ever had. My husband picked it because they give you $50 bucks to sign up. Note to self: If a bank gives you money to sign up...Watch Out! How can they afford that you ask? They can afford to pay customers to join and to build and ENTIRE stadium because their NSF fees are a whopping $35. Not to mention that they don't allow you to link your checking and savings accounts. Recently, I incurred huge fees for a number of small charges because I was on the waiting list of a childcare facility for quite some time and they posted my deposit unexpectedly. No sympathy from TCF even though I had $ in my savings account. They don't post overdraft fees for like 48 hours so by the time I realized something was wrong; it is way too late. My husband and I both have direct deposit, so it has taken us awhile to part ways from this sub par establishment, which has only served to further my bitterness due to wildly swinging online account balances and middle of the night check cashing. The banking industry in general seems to have become such a self serving industry, penalizing its customers with a plethora of fees in a down economy that they themselves caused. "Thanks America for bailing us out with your hard earned tax dollars, now bend over!"

I forgot the most important part- TCF is involved in a CLASS-ACTION lawsuit, so if you think you have been ripped off log onto http://www.lieffcabraser.com/consumer/tcf.htm !!!!!!!

Okay, so I was wound up and forgot the most important part. TCF is involved in a class-action lawsuit, so if you think you have been ripped off log onto lieffcabraser.com. Not surprisingly, Bank of America just lost theirs, but I think it is closed now. Keep a look out BofA members there could be more to come.

No doubt that TCF is the worst on Overdraft Fees among banks. Over the past five years, total deposit fees have equaled 77% of TCF's pre-tax income.

A Class Action is a right way to stop the thief.

You may follow up the latest in United States Judicial panel on Multidistrict Litigation, under the MDL #2036, in re: Checking Account Overdraft Litigation.

Let's bring everyone from all these seven states:

Minnesota, Illinois, Michigan, Colorado, Wisconsin, Indiana and Arizona.

I have signed on in Illinois.
