I HATE US BANK!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!! After having an account with them for ONLY 4 MONTHS I have paid them over $900 in overdraft fees. For things like $4.96 at Starbks, or $12.00 at the grocery store, they would charge me $37.50 PER TRANSACTION. Then they have a negative balance fee... $8.00 a day. I'm leaving this bank and going back to my credit union!!! F*ck this jacked up piece of sh*t!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!

I want to leave Chase and I was thinking about going to USBank...but it seems it's not a good idea!

Its awful... Run for the hills or keep your money in a mattress... Unless you have gobs and gobs of money to spend on overdraft fees and want to have your cash deposits lost.. (they did that to me once too, thank God I had the receipt to prove I made the deposit) Go with a credit union if you can or any other instituition than this one.

I remember Washington Mutual (now Chase) charged me $32 for an over withdraw from my checking account, but I talked to them and they credited it back because it was the first time I overdrafted...I think that was nice of them.

They did the same thing for me the first time... The they ALWAYS conveniently would run the largest transaction through the account first which would have covered the 3 under $10 transactions, but they run the largest and then fee you for every other item that clears for FAR less than the first large transaction. So instead of just one fee because there was PLENTY of money to cover the small stuff and I was maybe off by like $5.00 and they would fee the h*ll out of me... They stink!

That is pretty shady..I'm sorry to hear they did that. Have you already closed your accounts?

I printed out all of my statements, going to close the accts overdrawn, and if they try to come after me for the whole amount I'm going to seek legal counsel because I have all the proof of their flagrant abuse of their feeing ability.

You people all complain about how bad the bank is...

Here are a few tips for you to better manage your money.

1) Use a Register! Every time you spend, write it down!
2) Ask questions on how the bank processes debit/credit transactions.
3) Use checks, not debit cards if you can't keep track of card purchases.
4) Use cash instead of card or check. You can't overdraw with cash.
