New Forest pony

reviewed by jedi58

The New Forest Pony or New Forester is one of the recognised Mountain and moorland or Native pony breeds of the British Isles. The breed is valued for its hardiness, strength and sureness of foot. It is indigenous to the New Forest, in Hampshire in southern England, and many ponies can still be seen running loose there.

New Forest pony 4

It's great to see wild ponies, and these ones are magnificent creatures and are also quite tame and gentle - probably used to humans coming to visit them in the New Forest. If you're ever in the New Forest and want to try and see some then one place I've been able to see these ponies roaming is at Picket Post.
