Trattoria Contadina is a great little family owned Italian restaurant, somewhat off the beaten track in North Beach. It's a small place, and has a great neighborhood feel to it - lots of tacky, autographed photographs of celebrities who have eaten there adorn the walls, and the kitchen is "open", meaning that you can watch your food being prepared. The seafood dishes were outstanding, as was the Italian sausage farfalle... highly recommended.
