Weather.com is a great resource for weather when you are not around a tv. The forcasts are quite accurate, the local page is a plus. The locals page gives you all your local weather info plus other local events. Plus it gives you a 10 day forcast without even having to go to seperate page! also, you get the current doppler reading on the right side! and right under it there's a pull down menu where you can choose several different weather maps like lightning strikes, current temps, dewpoins, regionals, Precipitation, snow and a lot more!!!! you can also show the map in motion!! I found this site to be the most informative weather site out there. The site could be easier on the coding since it does take a while to load on slow connections, but it habs't really bogged down as of yet. It is pretty stable, considering the intense coding. The Weather Channel has always given a good forcast so far as 1 or 2 days ahead but it's hard to trust any forcast that is several days away.. if you heard of the chaos theory... it will explain it.... anything can change of course!!! so it's very hard to keep perdictions accurate to an extent!!! but weather.com keeps a good handle on thier forcasts, but they sometimes have thier down-times especailly during the first few months if the year when anything can change.... but in the summer it's easier to keep a handle on... oh well great siten great channel... could go more local and show the regions for a little longer time...
