Elka, 18 at the time of the show, grew up in Brownsville, TX. A Mexican-American, Elka was raised as a strict Catholic in an Hispanic town on the Texas border. Quote: "Gays make me uncomfortable - especially lesbians."

Besides the obvious Beauty and Grace she held, Elka overall was a great castmember that held her own. She holded on to her beliefs and values and open her mind to the many wonders that was there to offer. Her season was also great and she definetly had something to do with it!
