The franchise began play in 1901 as the Cleveland Blues, changed the team's name to the Naps in 1905, and changed it one last time to the Indians in 1915. The Indians have won two World Series championships, most recently in 1948. An AL Central team, they play their home games at Jacobs Field in Cleveland, OH. Indians in the National Baseball Hall of Fame include Cy Young, Larry Doby, Bob Feller, and Bob Lemon.
