Priceline.com allows users to name a price they are willing to pay for a product. Priceline then works to locate a seller willing to accept the user's price. Items range from airline tickets to hotel rooms to rental cars.

It works. . .but the website is slow and clunky. Too much time invested makes a shopper very frustrated. Although I confess I did get a decent price for a hotel in Boston (Never a cheap place. . .)
