Democracy and Education(John Dewey)1916 3

I'll tell you what book was harmful in the classroom. The one that the fossil of a fourth grade teacher used to hit kids with in my son's class.

When kids started to share their stories of random acts of violence in a 21st century classroom with their parents there was an uprising of concerned liberal thinkers who stormed the school. The mob discussed these incidents with the school administration in calm voices with reasoned expectation of investigation by the principal and discipline for the offending educator if warranted.

The teacher used up her accumulated medical leave until her retirement was announced at the end of the year.

Sometimes the system doesn't suck.
