Chicago, IL

Chicago, IL 1

Terrible place to visit, and a terrible place to live.

The entire city proper east of Cicero Avenue from Lawrence Avenue southward is all one huge endless ghetto. Even Downtown Chicago is a horrible, extremely bad neighborhood. What was once the Magnificent Mile is a war zone of flash mob shootings, homicides, armed robberies, all targeted at innocent people. There's shootings every day inside Chicago's museums and sports facilities. The "El" has become a death trap with flash mobs toting stolen MP-5s shooting up trains and then robbing everyone on board. Even CTA buses get shot up in broad daylight by the flash mobs. And the flash mobs target law enforcement, media personnell, and innocent people. The rest of the city is violent gangs such as the Gangster Disciples, the Latin Kings, the Four Corner Hustlers, and the Mickey Cobras. The same huge ghetto also extends south right into the southern suburbs, covering the urban areas of Dolton, Harvey, Midlothian, Blue Island, South Holland, Country Club Hills, Matteson, Richton Park, Steger, Chicago Heights, South Chicago Heights, Ford Heights, Glenwood, Lynwood, Dyer, Lansing, Munster, Hammond, Whiting, East Chicago, Highland, Griffith, Merrillville, Gary, and Schererville.

West of Illinois Route 50/Cicero Avenue may be much safer, but there's nothing to do but work. Chicago suburbs people are hateful, anti-social, closed, and disconnected from one another. People in DuPage County (including the suburbs of Lombard, Glen Ellyn, Wheaton, Downers Grove, Naperville, Batavia, and West Chicago) have a zero tolerance policy towards strangers. You can see them in their closed little cliques. No strangers allowed. Any/all conversations with anyone are strictly business-related. Guys, going out alone in DuPage County makes you look like a massacre suspect, and you get avoided by a wide margin. Approach a woman and/or have non-business related conversation with a stranger = 55 years in prison. Lake County (including the suburbs of Gurnee, Waukegan, Libertyville, Grayslake, Lake Villa, and Zion) is a mirror image of DuPage County.
