Dallas will forever be the greatest primetime soap. Larry Hagman and Linda Gray shared a unique chemistry as JR and Sue Ellen Ewing. The other original cast members Barbara Bel Geddes, Jim Davis, Patrick Duffy, Victoria Prinicpal, Steve Kanaly, Ken Kercheval, and Charlene Tilton are all part of the phenomenon that became one of the most beloved shows of all time.
"Who Shot JR?"--need I say more? It was all that was talked about practically world-wide the summer of 1980. Awesome!!
It's unfortunate that a show of this magnitude had such a sorry ending. "JR Returns" the first movie after the end of the series, could have led to more great movies, but "War of the Ewings" was a disaster.
One more try, CBS! Reunite the cast for one more roundup! Dallas deserves a rip-roaring end.
