Well written, and as political as entertainment TV got back then. Worth the effort to watch.

There are some dud shows, but a lot of the writing is pretty solid, and there are some good performances. The special effects (in the context of the era) range from very good to laughable, but its really the content of the scripts that gave the show its strength
