I stumbled across this site a while back and I think it is hilarious. "Jump the Shark" refers to the moment where a long-running TV show has peaked and is all downhill from there. Example: Niles and Daphne getting together on "Fraiser" would be a jump the shark" moment, because the show will never be the same after that. Same thing when the Meathead and Gloria left "All in the Family", or when they brought in Cousin Oliver on The Brady Bunch. You'll have to check the site for the reason why this pheonomenon is called "jumping the shark"; I wouldn't want to ruin it for you. The site is interactive, and you can leave your own comments on tv shows and read the thousands of comments on hundreds of shows left by other site users. Some of the comments are drop dead hilarious if you remember your old tv shows. There is a LOT of content here if the idea of discissing tv shows appeals to you.
