Someone from their company called me after I had a discussion with the technician and told him I didn't not under any circumstances want him coming out to my house... they laughed and were like "What seems to be the problem?" So I explained that their technician was rude and I was not comfortable with him in my house... didn't even get so much as an apology from the scheduler/receptionist or whomever she was. Really crappy service.... they should really give their technicians monitored phones to talk to their customers on.

I had a horrible experience with this, similar to the other poster. They were scheduled to come out to my house for a Best Buy warranty service. The technician Farooq was rude and abrubt on the phone, not to mention he spoke very fast and it was hard to understand his English. He called on Saturday to leave a voicemail telling me he wanted to come out tomorrow when I made the appointment for 8-noon on a Monday. I didn't return his call because I was out of town and when I called Monday morning to find out when he was showing up he said that he didn't get me on Saturday so he wasn't going to come out on Monday because "what if no one was home." He then told me he could come between 5 and 6 PM, which didn't work for me. He kept telling me "You're not listening to me." Not a very nice way to address a customer. If you use Strauss Photo Technical Service, I would be sure NOT to get that service technician. I called Best Buy and told them I did NOT under any circumstances want him in my house and frankly wish he didn't already have my address.
