About rok100 - Male, 44 and Single (Hillbilly Hell, Generic Red-State)

OK, pitchforks aloft & torches alight, there's a movement afoot! ='D I'm probably going to be thrown-out of RIA soon so dig-in, read-up & feel free to cut&paste anything of mine that resonated with you. It's amazing how easily offended most people are by something as simple, unthreatening & as ubiquitous as reality. About 5% of us are really awake & aware of what's actually going on - probably WAY LESS than 5% - & we spend almost all of our time in a perpetual state of astonishment & amazement. Being a limited range subspecies with a very small population, we 5 percenters DO tend to get tired of each other & occassionally long for new company! Want to see something REALLY COOL? Type *cokedealer.com* into your browser's address bar & hit your "Enter" key. (shhhhhh!) This browser trick brought to you by Rep. NAME REDACTED & the congressional inquiries into CIA drug trafficking. Did you know that a man set himself on fire in front of the White House recently? How could you have possibly NOT known about that? You're not being BRAINWASHED, are you? (I LOVE all my testimonials! Thnx, everybody!)

Favorite Books & Authors:

Read & Hear Lectures by Professors H. Zinn, A. Gore, N. Chomsky, R. Dawkins & S. Hawkings. It's not just about READING, life is too short & there are way too many books to just "read" - read the authors I've listed above, read them all, commit them to memory, then rip-out your eyeballs. There was a fascist industrialist coup d' etat against the FDR White House in the 30s, many things since then have been 'managed'. That's not an argument, an allegation nor a conspiracy theory, it's A FACT. If you didn't know it, you've been reading the wrong books & listening to the wrong people. Truth isn't usually binary nor is it "fair & balanced", FOX "News" is an attempt to argue with the scoreboard after the game has been played & the score & stats have been entered into the record books. The truth matters: Dinosaurs LIVED, talking serpents DID NOT.

Syriana, An Inconvenient Truth, Lord of War, Why We Fight, The Corporation, F9-11, Bowling for Columbine, The Men Who Stare at Goats, Conspiracy of Silence and The Panama Deception. Honest Xtian?

A little wild and half crazy, but they say the same things about me. We need offensive people like you here or life would be boring.

He hasn't written in awhile, and I, for one, hope he plans on returning. He's inflammatory, true, and offensive to some, but he's funny and smart and actually has cogent things to say if you can get past the provocative verbiage. And anyone who can make me laugh out loud, and rok100 has inspired me to laugh out loud numerous times, has a fan forever in me.

This guy is from Oklahoma, and since he is over forty, as he stated in one of his posting, anyone that old from Oklahoma is brain damaged, or brain dead, or really, what did you say rok100?

I just realized that this guy relies on Howard Zinn for his hilarious postings on this site. What a joke. I read some of Zinn's work a while ago and he is about as relevant to historians and history as an Edsel is to automobiles.

Zinn was trendy in the good old Marxist days, but you know what repute such thought grabs today. Zinn is a historical Manichaean, if there is such a term. Everything is black and white, or good versus evil. Historical dualism, such as taught by Zinn, is interesting for the weak minded, as it is easy to understand. It is much harder to understand and grasp actual history in that many contending forces probably have both good and bad in them. Slogans, such as Zinn puts out, are readily grasped by the stupid.

Not everything is all good or all bad as a generalization.

That is a simplification of Zinn, but fairly well sums up his work. I read "A People's History of the United States," I suppose about 7-8 years ago. I don't find it so relevant in light of the hundreds of other history books that I have read.

"A little learning is a dangerous thing;

Drink deep, or taste not the Pierian spring;

For shallow draughts intoxicate the brain

And drinking largely sobers us again."

Alexander Pope wrote those thoughts about learning. Read widely and well before you spout off.

This guy is hilarious. He is exhibit #1 to support my thesis of the rapid decline of learning and logic in the land. I you like a person with an obviously deprived educational experience, including expertise in comma splices, bad syntax, bad grammar, bad facts, bad spelling, and bad logic, make sure to read his posts. We all need the comic relief. I'm sure.

Why post here? The New York Times editorial staff will pay you handsomely to do it there. You make Ann Coulter look like an objective pundit. You’ve changed Zero minds, you win!
