These are overall great - work well for most uses, can go in your compost bin after use if not used with chemicals, and are recycled. I agree with the reviewer who wishes they were scored like the Brawny towels. I rarely use these now though as we got cloth napkins, and use cloth rags for most cleaning, but if you like the convenience of paper they are very useful.

Totally baffling why the product description doesn't give you the information you most want:

This is 32 rolls of Viva paper towels, each of which contains 50 one-ply sheets of 11 x 10.4 inches (27.9 x 26.4 centimeters).

Each roll is 39.7 square feet (3.6 meters squared). The 8 rolls per package totals 317.6 square feet (28.8 meters squared).

With the current price, there are about 3 cents per sheet. Seventh Generation is available on Amazon for less than half that (1.3 cents per sheet).

My most recent shipment said that Viva supports the Breast Cancer Research Foundation.

These towels are not as soft or as durable as I was expecting. I find that I am using twice as many towels to clean my glass top stove. As the other reviewers have stated, each roll is not very "mega sized". I will say that the select a size feature is very handy, but not exclusive to this brand of paper towels. Furthermore, from the picture I thought these towels would be all white...but mine arrived with tacky prints all over them. Personally I prefer the Kleenex Viva towels which Amazon also sells.

I REALLY, REALLY, REALLY wish I didn't have to buy 24 rolls! Holy cow! How do people find the space to store things purchased in such a HUGE quantity (mine are stacked on a shelf in my garage)? You should have heard my husband when I opened the HUGE box...LOL! I think these will last me at LEAST two years, if not longer. Okay...onto the paper towels themselves... Now that that is off my chest. Really, Amazon...could we do a smaller, more reasonable quantity? 10? 8? 14? I like buying in bulk to save money, but 24 rolls of paper towels is a bit much (I know, I know...I didn't HAVE to buy them...but it's hard to judge how much it really is until you actually see 24 rolls of paper towels)

These are absorbent paper towels. I like to buy the choose-a-size because most of the time I can make do with just a half sheet for whatever I use it for. A full sheet usually isn't necessary, so I really like the half sheet choice. If a sheet doesn't tear on a perforation, I don't lose any sleep over it. It's a paper towel.

If you are in the market to open a paper towel store ;) then buy this 24 rolls of Scott paper towels. They work. Just make sure you have the room to store them.
