Thailand is one of my favorite destinations in the world. I have been here several times. Bangkok is not on my "favorites" list....(except for shopping), but if you are here make sure you visit the Grand Palace. It' just breathtaking. The architecture is amazing. I don't think I have ever seen something quite like this. Just make sure that you don't get scammed on your way over here by taxi-drivers, tour agencies etc....although it's hard to avoid the first time you're here :)

Being part of the 7 Seven Wonders of the World, the Pyramids of Giza are a testament to the mathematical and engineering capabilities of early Egypt.

Very large and beautiful square. This place is perfect for meeting with your friends: you take lots of amazing pics of Hermitage there, ride a horse or roller skate.

This is the most beautiful cathedral in Saint Petersburg in my opinion. It's very monumental and has incredible architecture, really gorgeous decoration of Nevsky prospect (the central street in Saint Petersburg).
The interior is incredibly rich: lots of gold everywhere (seriously!!), Russian Orthodox icons(each of them is worth a fortune). Lots of candles, beautifully dressed priests..., everything there just creates magical and, I would say, even mystic atmosphere.
It should be in top 10 list of where to go in Saint Petersburg for each and every tourist.

One of my FAVORITE places in the world - been there 5 times and each time was magical. I keep taking more friends and family members with me. The best way to go once you've discovered all of Cusco is to travel by private van through the Sacred Valley on your way to Machu Pichu making stops in Pisac and Ollantaytambo. My tips: Stay at one of the boutique hotels that are actually lovely cultural gems; definitely get a tour guide to take you everywhere as they are relatively inexpensive and completely change the experience with their fine education in the history and culture of Peru. Stay a night at Aguas Calientes and try to get a room with a view of the river. You will be able to make an early morning trip to Machu Pichu when it is almost deserted since the train from Cuzco arrives later in the day with all the tourists. Don't bother with the hot thermal baths in Aguas Calientes, they are large and overcrowded and the water is like dirty pool water. Try to have this experience on the way to Huancayo instead at one the many places where the thermal springs rise from natural pools instead of being directed into man-made concrete ones. Do have a Pisco Sour in one of the restaurants in Cusco; it's the national alcoholic drink, is delicious and packs a punch! Careful though, you'll already be feeling light headed from the altitude. Try the mate tea for that - renowned for heading off altitude sickness it's actually coca leaves steeped in hot water. A little bitter so add sugar and make sure you walk slowly your first afternoon in Cusco. Llamas, artisans, folkloric dress, cobblestone streets, Incan ruins, cathedrals...buy your ticket now!

Palace has always been a euphemism. This is an immense garden with several buildings.

According to European observers who saw it in the before its first destruction in 1860, it was beyond compare in beauty. According to others who saw it prior to its second destruction during the Boxer Rebellion 40 years later, it was spectacular.

According to modern observers, it is just a rather impressive garden now.

The beach is beautiful (and clean!). The neighborhood itself, however, leaves very little to talk about. There is no history or culture, only new condominium towers, parking lots, and shopping centers.

Hands down the BEST way to experience the beauty of Rio. A MUST do.

This beach is most ideal from far away. It makes for a beautiful sight with the Pao d'Acucar mountain in the background and the buildings that line the beachfront. It is a must see. Although locals will recommend against this, venturing in-land could result in discovering cozy little Bossa Nova bars with live music, and locals' street markets.
