Antennas Direct DB8 Multidirectional HDTV Antenna. The antenna is easier to install and to maintain the old large horizontal antenna it replaced. signal recepion is only better in the high frequency range. It is NOT multi-directional.

I had followed the youtube guide on how to make my own HDTV antenna. I was able to get 2 channels with it, and thought if I bought a powered antenna it would expand my options. Not only did it not expand them, I can't even get the original 2 that I had. It's really as if I don't have an antenna hooked up at all. I've tried multiple placements, directions, and yes, it is on. I know most people on here have good experiences with this but to me, it's absolutely worthless. Now I only hope I can sell it.

I read many reviews for this product, some were bad and some were good. But I thought it is worth giving a try. It was easy to set up. Looked a bit different from the normal antennas, but not ugly. After setup, on initial scan, it got most of the channels that I was wanting, but still missed GPB (in atlanta north metro area). A little adjusting of the rabbit ear sticks fixed the issue. Now I am happy and don't have to constantly adjust the antenna everytime I switch channel. I liked it.

The antenna was easy to instal and provides perfect reception. I am about 15 miles from the transmission towers and within direct line of sight of them. I have no way to know how well the antenna would work in more difficult reception conditions.

I live in an apartment in an urban neighborhood in central Seattle, on a street that is in a valley. I'm near the towers, but there are trees and buildings that block the reception. I had digital TV rabbit ears from Radio Shack, and with it received two to three channels consistently, and received all the other channels intermittently. When a favorite show was on, I sometimes walked around the room with the antenna trying to get a glimpse of the show and would stand holding the rabbit ears in order to watch.

After over-researching and reading reviews, I decided to try the Winegard SS-3000. It does work as promised--I receive all local channels strongly now. I am completely satisfied with its reception. YAY!!!!!!!

As far as aesthetics go, it looks sleek and fine except for the reflector, which is the mesh looking thing behind the antenna. It's just a little funny looking. However, I don't mind as I can now watch a show if I want to.

As far as packaging goes, I was impressed with how they minimized packaging. The instructions to put the antenna together and connect it were straightforward and clear.

If you live in an urban area and want an indoor antenna, I suggest this one.

I chose this antenna to mount in my attic and expected to get a few channels good but was pleasantly surprised to get most of them perfectly.

I bought this antenna because I read many good reviews on Amazon.
I wasn't disappointed, this antenna is a very good performer and it almost performs like it's an outdoor antenna. I've bought two of these already.

The Terk HDTVa Indoor Amplified HD Antenna for Off-Air Reception does the job. However, the term "off-Air" is not explained. One has to change settings on the TV in order to get it to work. It seems durable but the parts seem to fit to loosely together. Better explanation might be helpful in the manual.

I bought this same unit a second time for my TV in my room. I had already bought one for my living room TV, and have had no problems with it. The price I paid at Amazon was much cheaper than the first one, which was great! I shopped around the second time I had to buy an antenna and found a much better price!

The appearance looks a little "alien" like something from Star Trek, but it does bring in the channels quite clearly. Set up was a matter of plugging it in and hooking it to the converter box. Nothing to it.

I would recommend this product for the price and reception.

I've been purchasing antennas for the last 30 years. I've seen some great antennas and I have seen some that work no better than a coat hanger. I bought this thing at Walmart earlier tonight. I've been fooling around with it for the past 5 hours. To say that I am frustrated would be an understatement. If it wasn't 2:30 in the morning I would be getting in my car to bring this piece of garbage back to the store right now. You get what you pay for. I wasn't expecting a miracle for $10 , but I was expecting something that would pull in a few more channels on a little TV I have in my home office. The small size appealed to me since this was just being used for a secondary TV. I knew this antenna wouldn't be great. But I was just looking for sufficient. Something that was going to be better than nothing. Well guess what. I think I was happier with nothing. Tomorrow I will either get something better (which won't be difficult) or I'll just stick a safety pin in the antenna jack. I bet you that the pin gets me more channels than this stupid antenna did.
