Some decent skiing at the top of the resort, but a pretty limited developed terrain for a major resort in the Rockies. Worth a day on your way to a larger resort as a warm-up day.

It's been a couple of decades since I was there but it was an over priced tourist trap that didn't deliver enough good skiing to warrant the trip at the time. I recall it did at least have a pretty decent reputation for reliable snow fall.

Tucked away south of Glacier National Park in the town of Whitefish near the Canadian border, a good spot for the powder enthusiast with a good variety of runs and some good steep bowls.

I went to Copper for the first time last year. It definitely surpassed all of my expectations. You can find some wonderful secluded runs that make you feel that you have the whole mountain to yourself. There are some good food choices and the lift system worked like a charm. I came in as a beginner-intermediate and, due to the deep fresh powder, was able work my way up to some of the harder stuff. There are lots of moguls, powder, and beautiful runs to encourage even a novice to challenge him/herself to try harder difficulties. I loved it and would encourage anyone to try it at least once. I skiied Winter Park on the same trip and did not enjoy it near as much.

This is an amazing ski resort with breathtaking scenery and world-class skiing. Growing up, I came here with my family at least several times every winter and enjoyed it immensely. The snow is always powdery at the top, where there is a nice restaurant that doesn't seem to be open much of the time. There are restaurants, shops, and a nice hotel at the bottom of the mountain.

Amazingly they can get a lot of snow up in Flagstaff. The resort isn't huge but there's a diamond slope and a couple intermediate and a bunny. It's nice to have something a couple hours from Phoenix. There are some characters here, not exactly like going up to Tahoe or Aspen so watch your equipment. Traffic isn't too bad on the 17N although parking can be tough on the weekends.

I enjoyed this mountain a lot. When I went there--which was ALL day--I skied as many trails as I could and they were ALL good. We got our money in--my girlfriend and I.

When I was younger I went there and I really enjoyed it! I wouldn't call it great though because it was fairly expensive

Great for all types of skiers, I think it is especially great for beginners. The amenities in the village/town are great as well.
