Clogging is pretty much like tap dancing, and although I don't do either one, I have an appreciation for them.

Speaking of clogging, I think the Fab Five sisters from Utah that have been on "America's Got Talent" have proved just how much of an appreciation that people do have for it. They're officially in the finals.

Personally, I consider everything but The Twist to be exotic...

I suppose there's a time and a place for everything. If you are the newly-hired middle-school teacher in a small, conservative, mid-western town, getting into it when you are chaperoning the first sock hop of the year would not be considered the correct time or place.

Believe me on this one.

One of my ballet teachers insists that all ballet dancers should wear these because its split sole makes it easier to point your feet. They’re comfortable, but I don’t think they affect how well you point; either you can, or you can’t. And because these slippers are made of canvas and not leather, they wear out easily.

I've been a dancer for the past 13 years. It's the only thing that gets me through the day, as soon as I get home from school I do my homework, and then go to dance class at 4:30 until 9:30 every night. Ballet isn't all that hard unless you're on pointe. It's still not that hard once you get used to it, but it sure does hurt. I can't stand people who think we're not athletes. We probably work harder and dedicate ourselves to dance more than any other athlete does with their sport. All I do is dance, it's 100% my life. Most people in sports play multiple so they don't put their entire heart and soul into one specifically. Ballet/Pointe is simply amazing.

I wouldn't do this myself or it may be called "break" dancing for another reason but sure is cool to watch other people do it. Well, if theyre good at it that is.

Some kids were really good at it. I remember seemed like it was very popular around 84-86, then slowly fizzled away. Still today you will see break dancing contests from time to time. Its very fun to watch. Also funny to watch some one try to break dance.

I LOVE these shoes. I have been through four pairs of pointe shoes: Bloch Aspiration, Capezio Glisse, Bloch Sonata, and Russian Pointe. NONE of them worked well on my feet. So I chose to try out the Gaynor Mindens. I had no trouble getting on the box and it didn't hurt. I got an 8.5 with a medium length, supple shank, regular vamp and regular heel. They feet great on my feet and they make my feet look a lot nicer. They are really quiet and really comfortable. I will definitely be getting these again.
