Good stuff to be heard here. New, old & everything in between.

If you're tired of the overplayed hits, this station plays some interesting stuff. You might hear something you like by a band you thought you didn't care for, or an old favorite from your album collection you almost forgot about.

Pretty nice if you want to hear the old school stuff.

The best "metal" channel I've found on Sirius. They play more old-school stuff, some newcomers, but not too much of the ones where the vocalist sounds like he's imitating Lemmy choking on a ham sandwich.

I like Elvis, some of his stuff was great. When they play it for 24 hours, though, there's a lot of awful stuff like his gospel songs thrown in. Sorry, but if I'm going to listen to Gospel I prefer to hear it sung by women of color.

Ah, those golden 70s. Some of the best music I remember, and some I hope to never, ever, ever hear again.

Like the 50s channel, it's the best and worst of the era. One minute it's great, next excruciating. (At least for me)

I check it out from time to time, when I'm in a retro mood. If it's something like Buddy Holly, Gene Vincent, Chuck Berry, Bill Haley, Big Bopper or Jerry Lee Lewis I leave it on, if it's the bubblegum I keep chaning the channels.

They play a great variety of blues, but manage to usually keep the quality level high. Some nights they feature blues rock (eg., Allman Brothers,Gov't Mule, Bad Company, etc.) They play very old & very new blues. You might discover a new artist or an obscure one right between hearing your favorites.

I think this station has a good idea of what we need to do. I like the music and I'm glad to have Air1 apart of my life. I had so many encounters with death but Air1 helped me thought it all. Also having my family jumbled as bad as mine it hurts when someone else dies that you were close to. I am lucky enough to have four fathers and three moms. Of course they get on my nerves, but every time that happened i just turn on the radio and listen to Air1. I know every song on Air1 (that's not completely new) By heart and I can relate to some of the stories that they share. It's a great station, and I encourage people to give it a try!
