After testing out four different solar mole repeller products, the solar moler turned out to be the most effective in repelling the garden critters.

It took just a week for the mole activities to disappear. Over the past few years, I have tried using various mole removal methods. I even tried various mole poisons but the moles would just return after a few weeks. Finally, I came across a product known as the solar mole repeller. These products utilizes ultrasonic waves in order to repel moles and other garden critters like gophers.

At first, I was skeptical about this product but I decided to have a go after I read a few customer reviews. After all, it was less than $50 to purchase one so there was no big risk. Installing the product was pretty easy. I just had to dig out a few soil from the ground and slowly plant it into the ground.

As it utilizes solar energy, it is best to place it in an area which is exposed to a lot of sunlight. A few days after installation, the mole activities were still there. It was funny at first because it acted like as if was a mole attractor, rather than a mole repeller. There were mole tunnels right beside the Solar Moler. I didn't worry too much though because I was already warned about such behaviors.

After a week or so, the mole activities finally started to disappear and now I am a happy gardener!

My chainsaws usually wear out. A 16 in Stihl 040 Farm Boss was purchased used in 1980 and still runs, but the main casting holding the handle is broken. A Remington electric still runs but the plastic casing is cracked after hard use, so it was being replaced. A Craftsman 18 in, 4 peak hp (Model 35834118) was purchased in January of 09, and by May of 09 it stopped! Nothing cracked, nothing disconnected, not slowed down or squeaky. Stopped, nothing, period. Pure junk. Can't find receipt, so Sears says "sorry." I say don't buy Sears!

I boght the same Cub Cadet LT1050, 2005 model year. My problem is just as like discribed above. The mower deck is falling a part. I already replaced 3 spindle set. After investigating it. I found that the roller bearing for the mower deck is not designed for this application. The spacer between the bearings does not hold the bearing pre-load, causing bearing failure. I am trying to replace the spindles to a better ones, but it is too expensive. I do not recommended this tractor for anybody.

Thanks

In 2005 I purchased a Cub Cadet for our 3 acre property. Within the first six months of use the left spindle bearing went out. This is the bearing to which the lawn mower blade is attached. My model has three blades. The next year the middle bearing went out. Then the magnet clutch which transfers the power to turn the blades failed. The next year the switch which sends power to the magnetic clutch failed. Finally this year the third spindle bearing failed. I order a replacement and the replacement was defective. About the only thing good I can say about Cub Cadet is the Kohler motor. It has performed perfectly.

This ia very flexible product. I found brick edging expensive and concrete too permanent. This gives me clear separation of my lawn and garden beds so i'm happy.

I purchased this for myself for Christmas.  Love it.  Don't believe those complainers that it's too bright and noisy.  Where did they put--on their nightstand?  Mine is in the kitchen and I don't usually sleep there.  It is bright--you need light to grow plants.  There is a very slight hum and water sound.  Unless you are sitting right next to it listening for something to complain about it won't disturbe you.

I planted the herbs and they are growing nicely, especially the basil plants.  I ahve had to raise the lights three times already.  Instructions seem to cover everything--especially how to harvest your crop.  In the box is a coupon to purchase more seeds for something like $4.99.

I purchased at Bed Bath & Beyond using their 20% off coupon.  Even if the coupon is expired they will honor the discount.  Also, if you purchase first, you can come back with your sales receipt and the coupon and they will give you the 20% off.  Great store!

You can also make your own "pods" and grow whatever small plants you want.  I'm going to try cherry tomatoes next.
