I use them for practically every outdoor activity and sport(Volleyball, Mountain biking, Running, Hiking, Fishing, Shooting, Racing, etc.).

You could buy a frame and interchange the frames according to whatever the occasion; polarized for fishing, full colored Iridiums for those bright days, Persimmon for those cloudy days, high bright yellow for night motoring, or just clear for working in the shop.

I recommend the Oakley M-Frames to anyone that is very sport active.

To not put words in his mouth, here's what the owner of greatshades.com had to say about refusing a phone call from a prospective customer:

That is the purpose of the lens form and web site. Doing business on-line but withholding details from the site would make no sense.

Telephone support would slow me down and increase my costs.

Additionally, you could have had any ACTUAL QUESTION ABOUT OUR PRODUCTS OR SERVICES answered twice by now via email.

Finally, I find when, against my better judgement I answer a cry baby demand to provide my service by phone, it is someone either too lazy to read material at the site, or just do not want to accept the information provided and instead demand I confirm that we do NOT offer services other than what we advertise.
Bye,

Serengeti make nice glasses, but their QC is poor, and their support is worse. I bought a $200 pair of large aviators and after wearing them about 10 times, a lens popped out while I was putting them on. The lens shattered into 5 pieces when it hit the ground. The glass is obviously not shatterproof - or even very strong. The store said it was my fault for not "maintaining" the glasses and I would have to pay $150 for two new lens. I told them to keep the glasses. Serengeti did not respond to my complaint. Since then I bought a pair of $28 Dockers from Sears and they are just as good as the Serengetis anyway.

I bought these for running, and I like the look and the comfort, but the frames are a little small. Great for the price, though.

I purchased two pair, the Pearl & Smoke, and the Silver & Smoke. I had Coyotes with interchangeable lenses, but the dark lenses broke, so I needed another pair, but couldn't find the Coyotes anywhere. The Jimarti V8s seem to work well in the Florida sun, at a reasonable price with good visual clarity. I am pleased with the quality at an affordable price.

Two days after I recieved the sunglasses, the earpiece broke off. No big deal, they have a lifetime breakage warranty. So I contacted the company, explained what happened, and they no only sent me a replacement pair, but also a second pair of a different frame/lens combination, and two protective bags/lens cleaners (the material works for both of those functions). I thought, wow, that's some great customer service. So they have that going for them.

Onto the sunglasses themselves.

I appreciated them being polarized, because that usually makes them a little darker than they would be otherwise. My eyes are a little too sensitive to light, and I shouldn't have to squint with my sunglasses on. With these I do. They just aren't dark enough for me. My fault for not trying on a pair somewhere before I bought them, I suppose.

Then I discovered some weird viewing through the glasses. Towards the edges of the lens around the frame, the view got blurry. I moved my head around to see the object I was looking at, and it's in focus away from the edges. I thought that was weird. My field of view includes the edges of the lens, so it shouldn't be blurry! My main viewing isn't there, so it's not a huge deal. But it is annoying. They fit my face well, though they are often a little too close to my eyes and I have to adjust the position (my eyelashes would touch the lens). They do look decent from the outside.

As a side note, the second pair they sent me (tortoise frames with amber/yellow lens) does't have these edge problems. And they aren't dark enough for me either. They look good though.

I wear either of these pairs as my daily sunglasses for driving and playing outdoor, daytime sports (mainly golf).

Knowing these things, I would not buy another pair.

Initially I was happy with the product but the end of the arm piece broke after about two weeks.
