I go to hear Perry Stone every chance I get. He is an annointed, Holy Ghost filled man of God. He is not afraid to preach the truth which is rare these days. I wish he pastored a church..I would go!

Jentezen Franklin is an anointed man of God. He preaches BIBLE which is rare in preachers today. Most are afraid to preach "sin" but he is not. Thank God for men who tell the truth! It is really funny to me how people like to jump on the band wagon and freak out when preachers or evangelists ask for offerings or preach about tithes etc. Dont they know by giving we are opening ourselves up for Gods blessing? Its in the Bible if anyone would bother to read it. God doesn't "need" our money to get the gospel out that is true...however we need to "give" so that we may be blessed. People do not hesitate to make hollywood entertainers rich who contribute to the fall of our children and help to drag down our society but will throw a fit if a Preacher writes a book and sells it. or asks for donations to keep thier program on the air so they can keep preaching the Word of God. No people are to busy keeping trash on the air like thier reality shows etc. Get over it! Get your priorities straight you hypocrites!!

Pastor Dollar has been an inspiration to me and my family. His God given revealation has helped me reach a debt free life. People who have a problem with the prosperity message will be stunned when they reach heaven....streets of gold....walls of jasper....gates of pearl....foundation of jewels....mansion for each of us....and Jesus prayed "Your will be done in earth as it is in Heaven", prosperity is much more than money too, it's walking in the fulness of God's goodness! God desires to give us the kingdom, why....so we can help reach souls, and God desires to take care of His children because He loves us! Anyone who has a problem with being wealthy has the right to stay poor, busted, sick, and disgusted....but why, when God desires to bless you!? I choose to walk in blessing! Keep up the good work Pastor Creflo Dollar!!!!

Billy Joe has done a lot for the kingdom of God in his 50+ years. Unfortunately his theology injures many (if not more) than it helps. His beliefs on healing are a case in point. The teachings he promotes are of the "name it and claim it" or "blab it and grab it" variety - very common amongst the people whose coattails he rode to his "lofty" position. ... According to this theology you can be healed from ANY disease or malady at any time IF:
1) you have ENOUGH faith
2) do not have ANY doubts or negative thoughts or words

1. Christ taught that you only needed a tiny bit of faith - even the size of a grain of mustard seed. It's not the amount of faith but where you place it that counts. The purpose is to commit ones self to, trust in, and relying upon God - no matter what happens. That is faith's purpose - NOT to obtain specific personal gain.

2. Having negative thoughts or doubts or saying something negative is something everyone does. We're human, so get over it already. True, drowning yourself in negative thoughts and words is like a self-fulfilling prophecy, but the "faith"ers that Billy Joe emulates take their views to a dishonest and unhealthy extreme that is just as damaging. Something so simple and so open and honest as admitting you are sick when you have 105 temp and oozing sores is looked upon as a negative confession that will bring what you say. Such a view is tantamount to witchcraft.

Billy Joe and his followers are now having to grapple with reality - rather than the pleasant sounding lies and wishful thinking of BAD theology. His bout with cancer (lymphoma) will not likely end in total health - at least not in this world. Unfortunately, when reality hits, the church will split and many will be inflict injury on one another that will lead a collapse of faith for many.

I love Andrew Wommack. He really ministers to my soul. He is right on with the word of God. I can see people getting saved and delivered for real. Praise Almighty God for his word. I thank God for Andrew Wommack.

Many people are being led astray and so many deny the word of God. God is an awesome God. Andrew helped me see what a mighty God we serve. Andrew will lead many people to Christ because he preaches the true word of God. The to good to be true news. The gospel of Jesus Christ.

Andrew keep on delivering people from religion. I appreciate what Andrew is doing in the body of Christ. I really believe people will want to be saved after listening to the word of God preached by Andrew.

I love Joel Osteen!!! I think that he is a inspirational speaker, and just because he don't use his bible alot in his messaenge doesnt mean he is not GOD sent, or a true man of GOD. When I feel all else has fell, I can listen to Joel and he will say something to show me different. People criticize him, for what, because during his messenge he don't have you going to 5 different books of the bible. I feel that he was sent by GOD to do just what he is doing. Keep doing Joel what GOD has guided you to do, and continue to be obedient to his vision.

Personally, my Wife and I had no connection with him. He acted as if he was better than everyone else. He kept making us repeat everything. You would think he was talking to little children. Very insulting. Just kept looking for an appaulse. The whole thing was marketing his books. Just way to high on his horse. He even made reference to how he lived next to a WWF wrestler and how the WWF guy made 7 figures. Hmmm....How much did you make living next to someone like that? I did not feel empowered in fact a lot people were rolling their eyes because he kept bragging about himself being the best selling author, etc. Very Cocky, Forgive me for being so judgmental Lord! Just sharing my honest opinion for this review.

***This post was upadated as of 11/09/09****
Hello. My post is basically about something that I can relate to as a Christian......the fact that, like Jimmy Swaggart, I too have struggled with pornography. I can't say that I have had promiscuous sex with a woman. I am thankful to the Lord that throughout these 18 years of my vice, that I am still a virgin and have never deflowered a woman. I have gotten some help with a prayer ministry that is giving me breakthroughs, and I can only say for myself that my involvement with porn has not been as severe. Glory be to God for that. In all things I will give thanks to the Lord.

Jimmy (and probably Donnie) Swaggart have preached against psychology over the past years, which would include counseling. It is very intriguing that when Donnie Swaggart held a press conference in October of 1991 after his dad's second exposure, he stated that his father would be taking an undetermined period of time off from the ministry for "professional counseling." There is nothing inherently wrong with counseling generally, if it is based on Biblical grounds. However, I have determined that conventional counseling does not really help the hurting in the long run, because most of the therapists out there can only offer coping mechanisms to people who come for help. One perfect example of someone, out of all due respect, who is known to only have given these mechanisms is Dr. James Dobson of Focus On The Family.

I see Jimmy and his entire immediate family as hurting individuals, who may or may not be in touch with their own pain. I have submitted myself to a counseling-type of prayer ministry that essentially states in a nutshell that much of what we do to sin is rooted in pain, which is rooted in trauma and lie-based thinking. Though I understand that even though sin causes pain, if we get to the real root problem, and have it uprooted, we will be made whole.

Is Jimmy Swaggart whole? Well, it's hard to determine. He has made some strides, but the saddest fact of history is that his painful history repeated itself, with some known moral failures....dating in 1988, 1991, (and 1995? = not determined) He could have made an earlier comeback had he submitted to mature, godly authority figures who would have been spiritual enough to restore him. It is a shame how he had lost a lot of credibility.

For Jimmy Swaggart to come up to his church audience in October 1991 after his second moral failure and say "The Lord said it's flat none of your business" is only a reflection of deep insecurity and hurt that Swaggart was unwilling to deal with and face head-on. It is to my understanding that when Donnie Swaggart was questioned about why he had gotten divorced, he had echoed the same words as his father.

In her defense, for Frances Swaggart to "stand by her man" after these numerous unravelings, it would merit her to be given a medal of honor for not filing for divorce. Maybe some of you out there would say that she might have had scriptural grounds for divorcing him, but I do praise God that she decided to stay with Jimmy. Praise be to God for that.

It is sad that ministries like JSM have not thrived as much as what it could, and the reason lies more than likely with the Body of Christ-at-large.....we have been a sleeping, prayerless church.

I grew up listening to Swaggart's music in the 80s and taped him off of television. I still enjoy watching vintage videos of his on Youtube and Tangle.com.

Some of you may vent your venom in this room. The one poignant thing I can say to you is this: if Jimmy Swaggart walked into an outlet mall in your home town where you happened to be shopping, would you have enough humility to give him at least a handshake or a hug, or would you be triggered? I pose this other question to you all as well: Are you praying, and are you praying without ceasing?

My last thoughts: There are many Jimmy Swaggarts out there who have never gone beyond the outer court and into the secret place with God to discover intimacy with Him. I can't say that I'm an authority on what I'm talking about; because of what I posted earlier, I still have a ways to go. I will forever keep the good memories of what God did through Jimmy Swaggart. If God could use a donkey to speak to Balaam, and He could use Swaggart, then I have assurance that He can use a speck of dust like me. I have traveled along further in my spiritual development since I had originally made this post. I have repented before God for things I said in this room which was nothing short of gossip. I believe that the effectual prayer of a righteous man or woman avails much.

There but for the grace of God go I.................
