Maui is my favorite place on Earth.

I recommend Little Beach in Maui!

Silver Sands is my favorite beach - it's not somewhere you go if you expect commercial-type stuff like hot dog stands and waterslides - it's a gorgeous place where you can relax and enjoy the views. Walk out to Charles Island when it's low-tide, or just lay around in the sun - either way you'll have a rejuvenating experience. It's a romantic place to take a walk at sunset, especially on a weekday when it's not too crowded. It only gets packed on some weekends in the summer - most days it is a hidden treasure on the CT coast.

Revere Beach is ok. It's nice but you can't swim because it's too dirty. What is the point? It's a nice spot for a romantic date. It's also cool to chill with friends. I was here couple times with friends and enjoyed the nice view and the sand. I dislike the smell of fish but again I can't complain it's the beach, fish live here lol. Truereview here to tell you the truth.

Loved this beach. Started at Venice Beach. No shark teeth, no people. Not a great place llike we heard. Drove to Caspersen Beach and thought we were in heaven! Felt like a separate island in the middle of nowhere! Found so many shark teeth - lovely beach, sand was dark. Just had an amazing time and will be back!

Great town. Just on the not-Cape side of the Cape Cod Canal so less
of a tourist trap while having all the natural qualities of the cape.

Orleans felt like a typical suburban community and not so much of a travel destination. There were definitely a good deal of tourists, but it didn't seem like there were a lot of touristy things in town. The bayside beach was nice to walk around during lowtide and observe the wildlife on the sand bars and salt marshes. There is a nice bike trail through the town, and Orleans hosts a Cape Cod league baseball team as well. Its also located in a good location on the Cape to visit other locations. Its fairly centrally located in the Cape area so visiting other towns is not difficult.

Chatham has a picturesque beach near the Chatham Light House. The beach is sandy white and sits below a large cliff with good beach access. The whole area is beautiful, which might explain why it appears to have a "country club" type of vibe to it. Compared to other places on the Cape that I visited, it had a bit more of a snooty feel to it than others. However, I wouldn't mind spending a little bit of time there considering how nice the area looked.

I didn't spend a lot of time in Provincetown, but it doesn't take long to understand what the area is about. The drive into town is breathtaking with the towering dunes of Cape Cod National Seashore rising along Route 6. The town itself is very dense with historic buildings and small, narrow streets. Provincetown is filled with plenty of interesting shops and restaurants, and the harbor area is beautiful. My family went on a whale watching trip out of the harbor, and it was an absolutely great time that I definitely recommend to others. I'm not a boater, but it seemed like an incredible destination for boaters and fishermen.
The town is obviously a gay destination, so a visitor who has a problem being in that environment should be aware of that. However, if a person enjoys being in a unique environment with an eclectic crowd, Provincetown would have to grab your attention.

I drive a 18 wheeler and had my 9-year old son with me on a trip to Pompano Beach,FL. I dropped my trailer at a local motel and took my son to the public beach. I parked in a city owned pay lot at the beach. I took up only one parking space and paid the meter for two hours. We stayed at he beach only 45 minutes and went back to the truck. We were about to leave when a Broward County Sherriffs car came into the lot. We got out of the truck and ask the deputy where we could get something to eat and she directed us to a resturant a block away to which we walked. When we came back we had a parking ticket that said no semis in the lot. There was no signs visable any where near the place we parked the truck. Beware ! Not a popular place so they will get your money any way they can. Great example to my 9-year old on public survants!!(Ha Ha)

A big white sand beach that is popular but not too crowded. I came here in the winter six years ago and loved how the weather was warm (80 degrees) and sunny. My memory of the shops in the area is vague, but I do remember that the Salvador Dali Museum (a must-see) was close by.
