Review Icon Zwaldo reviewed Karate in Martial Arts:
I find karate something that most of us experiences in our childhoods. I feel that the art is so popular due to it's appeal from the movies. Karate is very flashy, and something that you would need to master to really do any good with. I'm talking 3rd degree black in a respected dojo. Until then you're just a dude that knows how to do some kicks.

The problem with karate is due to it's popularity. It's so popular that everyone wants to take classes to become the next bruce lee. This leaves the opportunity for anyone who says they have a black belt that they are a master of the art and start their own gym. This in return produces subpar students aka atm's.

I'm sure that Chuck Norris would kick my ace for saying this, but Karate is for the kids.

He is a crook and a joke when it comes to teaching real martial arts. Maybe that is why every school he gets opened, closes up because of poor business sense and leadership skills. Poor example of integrity in the martial arts world.

Very hands-on instruction. They offer flexible scheduling. Class sizes are pretty small still so you can get a lot of attention to detail from the instructors. Good atmosphere. Most of the student body is friendly.

Great schools and great orginazation. Focus on self-defense and building character.
True martial arts is not a sport.

Review Icon jedi58 reviewed Judo in Martial Arts:
It's a great sport, though not everyone considers it to be a martial art just because you don't punch or kick - but it is, and it's still just as fun. I've been doing Judo for about 7 years and got to a blue belt in the first 3, and a couple of years later passed my level 1 coaching course. I'm not bragging, I'm just trying to demonstrate the fact that it's either one of those sports you enjoy quite quickly and work hard at, or you'll leave in favour of a sport that lets you kick (such as kickboxing).

Nevertheless, I do recommend giving this sport a chance, it is fun if you let it be.

Practiced this for many years when I lived in Corpus Christi, Texas. This is great fun and a good way to lose weight.

I don't know-besides his weird politics-he's a Bushlover-his Martial Arts wasn't too bad,
he fought Bruce Lee in a movie. Walker was more of a cop show with some fighting, his movies weren't too bad.
