Review Icon alxbrow reviewed Scott in Toilet Paper:
I like this the best. I feel like it's safer for the toilet. The roll lasts a long time. It feels a bit like paper but it's not irritating and it gets the job done better than softer tissues.

I haven't used this in a very long time but I remember it to be sweet smelling and soft. I think it's too cloth-like for the toilets. I use Scott tissue and haven't had to use a plunger in the toilet for years and years.

I strongly disagree! I don't know how I'm going to suffer through the 12 double rolls I purchased. Suffice it to say, you'd better wash you hands extra good after using this stuff. I'm sure it does break down in the septic because it starts breaking down the instant it becomes moist. Pieces even remain in the toilet bowl after flushing.

I like that my arse doesn't hurt after wiping more than a couple of times.
I also like that I don't have to use alot- less than half of other brands.
One more thing I like is that my fingers won't go through it. Yay Charmin!

I didn't do a test comparison but found this brand to be lacking in regards to how long it lasts before needing the next roll. I'm talking about "Angel Soft" here. I have always loved "Scott Tissue" precisely for it's duration and was willing to pay the higher premium for it, but lately the price seems to be getting unreasonable. I am searching for a reasonable alternative or a source of coupons for the latter. I read a very favorable review for "Puffs" bot don't see it available where I shop here in South Florida.

I am one of those unfortunate people who got the rash. I had butt surgery and used cottonelle for about 3 years. I started having major issues. I went to the dermatologist (westlake dermatology) and Dr. Rhodes never asked me if I used wipes. I spent over $250 for the 2 appts, plus the expensive creams, antibiotics, culture, etc. It kept getting worse and worse. I went to my family dr and she ordered me to immediately go to the ER. 6 hours later, they said i had fissures after an MRI (this one was on the state's buck-MAP card). Still getting worse, went back to proctologist, thinking I was going to bust a vein or something. He never asked me if I used wipes. He couldn't believe how messed up I was. That was what he said, he also said I didn't have any fissures or roids. Ok, I'm sitting here one night and it just hit me. I stopped the wipes and a month later on the road to being able to sit down or stand up. This was the most irritating, painful and embarassing issue. I couldn't go anywhere, my butt leaked. Yes, it was wet all the time from infection. This went on for about 8 months. Now I have a ring of scar tissue around my hiney hole, as a result from the constant scabs and infection. I contacted Kimberly Clark and they sent me coupons. Not being satisfied of that recently contacted them again. A supervisor named Cindy immediately started questioning my case. "You have to have proof the MCI ingredient in our product caused your rash..." Stupid Bitch, I lived through this crap. Put a warning on the product. I am allergic to some preservatives which make my nerves bundle up under my tounge and down the sides of my neck. I read labels and make sure I don't eat the crap that causes me pain. I am going to send my 3 medical bills and my Rx bills which I paid for to their legal department. I am grateful I was finally smarter than my Dr's and figured out that this product is dangerous. Especially if you start using it after a butt surgery.

I too had an "Aha" moment, as I'm sitting my butt on ice because of a rash. I couldn't figure out what was causing me to have this irritation. I have used the Cottonelle Fresh Wipes for a few years, but with no problems. I started to have a bad rash and severe irritation about four months ago. I started to notice a pattern just recently, and figured it was the wipes. I am fair skinned and have sensitive skin. I do need to be careful what I use on my skin for other products too. I looked at the ingredients in the wipes and read that there is a lot of chemicals in them that can cause rashes and irritation. I think they're great if you don't have the rash or irritation.

This is soft, yet not too soft. It doesn't turn to dust when you unroll it like Charmin and Quilted Northern. It is still 2 ply, it is strong, and does not leave the little particles on your butt like the afore said products do.

It has gotten way TOO soft. Leaves little particles on your butt. Was good in the being, but I stopped buying it and STARTED buying Angel Soft. According to the company that put in our new septic tank, they recommend Angel Soft because it breaks down the fastest and easiest.
