These uniforms had an interesting use of melding purple with dark green (and sometimes using a black background) and used a cartoon-like emblem of a hockey mask worn by a duck while using slanting borders on the jersey. If you described this uniform to me without me getting to see it, I would have thought it would be right up their with the horrid Vancouver Canucks uni's from 1978-1985 but somehow this uniform worked for me. Not the greatest uni's of all time but acceptable in my opinion.
