I've been a big fun of Pandora Radio for a long time. It's a good way to listen to your favorite music at a low cost, I mean...for free.
Pandora was the first app I downloaded from the app store to my iPhone, that is the proof of the love I have towards the service.
Lately I have found some cons about the service, for both, the website and the iPhone app. So here are the pros and the cons.
Pros:
I love that it's free
I love that I have discovered other bands through the recommendation/similarity engine
I love that it covers many music genders and artists (I have found most of my Spanish 80's pop bands)
I love that they have an iPhone App
Cons:
When you are on the same radio station for a while, let's say 2+ hours, same songs play again and again, that is annoying!!
The impossibility to search for a certain song that you like. Let's say I like a song from Cold Play and I really love it but only that one, I don't want to listen to other Cold Play songs.
The recommendation engine sometimes is not really good, so sometimes I find myself listening to bands or music types that I don't like at all
It stops when you receive a call or a text message on your iPhone. I think that happens to most of the iPhone apps, but it really bothers me when i am listening to my music and it stops because a stupid call.
