I know this is old but I got an e-mail concerning Melissa Witek (who I rated a long time ago as the "should be" pageant winner) so I figured I'd stop by and rate Miss NY.
Meghan was a tremendous Miss NY - one of the best I remember...
But what really made her interesting??
I was in the hospital so I got to watch a lot of TV that weekend...
Well, either the day before or right before the pageant, they showed
a competition with 5 contestants. I think it was Fear Factor.
When I tell you that Meghan took to laying into these 4 other girls like you
wouldn't believe - I'll never forget it. During the last challenge, there was a box of chain link
fence they had to climb around to retrieve 5 flags. Meghan had gone first and retrieved the
first 4 flags so quickly, that when each successive girl retrieved the first flag, the commentator
stated that the contestant would have to retrieve all 5 flags in order to beat her because they would not be able to beat Meghan's time for 4 flags (noone successfully retrieved the flag at the bottom...
She's obviously some sort of athlete or a marine or something because she blew the doors off the hinges and left the rest of the contestants in the dust....
I wish I could get this on tape. I am gonna check youtube...
