The quality is poor to say the least. I ordered a burger and informed the staff that it was cold and they said they make their burgers ahead of time (!!!!) and heat them up when they're ordered!! How long is a precook burger safe to eat??!! So I ordered a chicken-n-cheese poboy the next time I ate there and it had chunks of burned something all throughout the sandwich which obviously had come from an uncleaned grill. Do yourself a favor and go to the one on Government Street. The quality is always excellent and they do not cook their burgers ahead of time and they keep their grill clean as well as the rest of the restaurant.

I don't know what this person below is so winey about... I thought the food was awesome! Giant Portions! Best Guac I have had in a long time, the fajitas were perfect and better quality meat than most places, the salsa and chips (both homade!) were great... they make their own friggin tortilla's!!! That is a rare trate indeed. I would recommend this place if you like your food to be 30-40% better than anywhere else. I think the best mexican restaurants in town are Superior, Scerano's, Ninfa's and Papacito's.

I'm torn here. I love Alby and his boys. Known them for over 15 yrs. BUT....its just getting too dangerous to go in their store. This part of town IS NOT SAFE!!!! things are happening in the parking lot there that NO-ONE should be unvoluntarliy submitted to. WHERE THE HELL ARE BATON ROUGE POLICE????? Alby, we love you...but maybe you could move for those of us who do not have guns & security available for our visits to your store!

on a scale from 1-10...these guys get a full 20!!!! you have to try the Italian Lover sandwich. OMG! TO DIE FOR!!! I'm addicted to this place. My only problem is choosing between a sandwich or the incredibly goodlooking Anthony Jr.!!! joking! this is your place for the BEST sandwich and fresh deli meats in town!!!!!!!
