I should have turned away when I saw the 1984 "big hair" wig that the dentist was sporting. Lesson learned. I continued on anyway, and I was at first overcome with a nostalgic sense of familiarity. The office took me back to my childhood. All of the equipment was from the 1970s. Yes they still have the old X-ray death machine you recall from your childhood. Modern technology has bypassed this office.
You would think using outdated surplus equipment might yield a break on price? Nope. Don't have insurance and want a break? Nope. Late paying a bill due to hard times and need some time? Nope.
Do yourself a favor and go somewhere with modern equipment and caring doctors.

Pros:Convenient location

Cons:Money hungry bait & switch experts

Really great Doctors and staff! They listened to my problems ans seemed to understand how scared i was just to be in a chiropractors office. They helped me fast and the cost was affordable.

First, the staff was rude and although a few girls were sweet, overall they act like they have something better to do while you sit at the window for 3 minutes. The nurse practitioner didn't listen to a word I said. I am young, yes. But I am in my early 20's with a toddler and have had worsening periods since the age of 11. I have had 8 Gynos & I was diagnosed with PCOS at 16. I thought this place would tell my what type of PCOS I had, how to help it-homeopathically & medicinally, just like their site says. I told them how Ibuprofen just didn't cut it and my long heavy and painful periods were worse than labor because they lasted for days and I was absolutely bedridden. So what did the doc do? Prescribe me more Ibuprofen. I took over 50 in one month, the month I concieved our second child. One we planned on having but had no luck for a year and my period that month was torture.
Why do I write such a long review? Because I sincerely hope it changes someone's mind. Someone who like me, had to go to several GYN's before initially finding answers to my problems & continues to have trouble finding someone who believes her pain especially after they see the 24 cysts on my ovaries for their own eyes! Someone who is tired of male doctors looking at her and thinking, she just wants some good pills.
My pregnancy thus far has been difficult but I am going to Women First of Louisville and I recommend Kelli Mudd-Miller to anyone with PCOS. She LISTENS and these doctors at PELVIC PAIN CENTER JUST WANT MONEY. I have good health insurance and in two visits they billed me over $800.00 on top of what insurance covered.
They performed a lot of the same tests twice and now I will speak up if I am ever unfortunate enough to come across docs like this because it isn't worth the frustration of being billed hundreds and not being told ANYTHING you havent known for years! I thought maybe he and her should do seprate physicals on me so they can both get the most knowledge they can but not at a few hundred bucks for feeling around and having me pee in a cup. I also had two ultrasounds-like I said I know how expensive docs are and you usually always waits but this place takes first place BY FAR in both areas! Thank you for your time.

I have a medical condition from a childhood injury that makes getting glasses difficult. After nine weeks and five different lens remakes by four different people I was told "I could not be satisfied". All I asked for was to be able to see as well or better than my old glasses. I was offered a refund of $297.71for the glasses only. I felt I should be refunded the exam fee also ($123.32), as I will have to pay another doctor for another exam. It seems they only care about selling glasses not helping peoples medical conditions.

I would not see this OB unless you are wanting to get cut. She is overly cautious and knife/power happy. She should be ashamed at how she talks to her laboring Mothers.

Dr. Cummins is condescending, cocky, ROUGH, impersonal, with ZERO bedside manner. He does not give you the time of day. He will treat you like an object, not a person. I would rather live without surgery than to go under the knife with him EVER again. He did surgery on my hand and messed up my joints, cut through my tendons, and has caused me to have to go through months of unnecessary physical therapy. HE IS HORRIBLE AND ONLY CARES ABOUT HIMSELF. He will not answer your questions, rather, he will act annoyed and as if you have put him out by asking. Go anywhere but to him.

Glasses and exam are a pretty good deal. However, my husband AND my mother-in-law have had their glasses break within the first 3 months. Then the second pair breaks in the exact same spot! Be warned, if you do get glasses there, make sure you get the accident shield! It seems they make their frames this way so if you don't get it, you have to pay full price again.
