They know their stuff, they have a sense of humor, the opening hours work for me, and the store has a cat. Could we ask for anything more of a neighborhood record shop? I highly recommend it.

I sold an electric keyboard here on consignment - $599.00. Apparently they took the money and didn't bother to tell me that it sold. Now they won't return my calls and I have had to file a complaint with the BBB! What a mess! Definitely not recommended...

Never a Problem and I know of Computer Joe and he is wrong about MBB's non-payment reason. He had his keyboard there for over 3 years, lost his contract which was only for 60 days!!!His negligence let the keyboard status slip through the cracks after it sold 3 years later due his over pricing in the first place! He was supposed to erase his comments like a man but never did. He downgraded the owner Steve all over the world wide web on top of this. What a way to end Steve's wonderful reputation FOR the musician for over 21 years! I hope he re-opens after the market comes back. We all miss him and his prices, service and knowledge of his staff.

this esablishment is just what the doctor ordered. It has a friendly very knowledgable staff, who will treat you with respect no matter how little musical or technical knowledge you may have. The prices are unbeatable, and in some cases you get more than you paid for (in my opinion). I always make an effort to buy all my gear, strings, and recording eqiupment here before a mojor chain store, or kriegs list. The selection can be very limited at times, but if they had more of guitar center's buisness (which they rightly deserve) the selection would improve.

Not as big & new as the other stores, but the owner is very nice and best of all he will re-string/re-align your guitar in 24 hours and for very little cost. A lot of used items for sale at a very good price as well! They don't open until after 12:00 noon so try after that.
