Wow. I saw the previous post and so dearly wish I'd gotten that kind of treatment. Instead, my requests to show me how to operate something in my relatively new car as well as my numerous requests left via voicemail to please call me back, were all ignored.

One of the issues that I brought my car in for was ignored, in fact I was told there was no problem despite everyone else who's been in my car being able to notice it easily.

The worst part was their calling to say my car was ready to pick up, my bf going down there to get it only to be told, "woops, we don't have the key," and being sent home with a rental for the weekend -- and then getting a call the next day saying it was ready (again, apparently with key), but now the rental place was closed, so I had to wait 2 more days and go down there again.

Then when I did finally get to actually get my car, it has a pretty bad scratch on the door. Are you f-ing kidding me?

The service guy said they'll fix it if I bring it down AGAIN a week from today.

You're damn skippy I got that in writing, because pardon me for having no trust in people who never called me back, ignored my requests, lost the key to my car, and damaged it while it was in their possession.

This place should be shut down.

After six months of trouble-free ownership, my Mazda's radiator fan starting running constantly. Royal told me - twice - that this was completely normal. They were dismissive and seemed to be annoyed I was bothering them with my problem, although they were happy to charge nearly $70 for an oil change. Because something was obviously wrong, I took it to another dealer, where they diagnosed a faulty thermostat. Now my car runs like new, as it should since it only has 12K miles. A few years ago I had a similar experience when the AC on my nearly-new VW failed. Royal Motors is only 5 minutes or so from my home, but they're so incompetent, so dismissive and so unpleasant that I choose instead to drive 30 minutes, cross a bridge and rent a car for day. Royal Motors is a terrible choice for warranty service, and only a fool would use them for services not covered by a warranty.

Came here to buy my first bike, completely dependent on the honesty and integrity of the owner/salesperson as I had almost no bike knowledge and no idea what to check. In short, I got completely ripped off. I bought a bike she said "Runs great, doesn't need anything."
After getting the bike home it rode for about a day and a half before completely dying. Took it to a shop and had to pay over four hundred just to get it running and it needed another $1000+ in order to get it into good shape.
The owner is supposedly a mechanic who buys bikes cheap at auction then fixes them up. So there is no way she didn't know about the basic things that were wrong with my bike. I love dishonest salespeople who rip off people who don't know any better. Too bad it's not a crime-

Outstanding service and value. I've been taking my car to B&W for regular oil changes and maintenance for 3 years. They have never tried to upsell me or scare me into unneeded repairs. They are efficient and honest. Prices are very reasonable.

June, 2009:
STARTED with the small job on my Prelude. Will's was one of seven (!) shops that I got estimates from -his was one of two that didn't seem inflated.
THEY did the work in the time they said it would take and came in right on the estimate...looked good so I took them the other car that needed much more work.
AGAIN a reasonable estimate, they got it done quicker than they said it would be and came in right on estimate!
ADD pleasant folk, a clean and orderly shop and I drove away vowing to spread the word.

I've unfortunately been here...more than once :( But, I have always had great experiences wiht the customer service and they don't seem to charge you for things you do not need. I took my car in to have the engine looked at when I noticed the check engine light coming on. They quoted me at $800.00 to fix it, gave me the breakdown of the charges and it ended up costing just that. When I drove it two weeks later I noticed the check engine light came on again :( I was worried they would charge me AGAIN to look at it ( seeing as I'm a single female damsel in distress ) but they didn't! I took it in, they looked at it....cleared a valve they thought was clogged and voila! The check engine light was off and I haven't seen it again since! I do recommend shopping around for somewhere a little cheaper because taking a vehicle to a specialty auto repair shop is almost always more expensive!

This is the worst Auto Body Repair Shop I've been to! Avoid at all cost. If you get a quote from another Body Repair Shop that is higher, you will be better off paying for quality service then the poor quality service from this shop. They lie about everything. I need my car for work, so I ask them how long will it take for them to repair my front bumper and grille. They told me it would only take two days. I bring my car in Monday morning and I take my car out Tuesday afternoon. Well on Tuesday, my car was not ready and they told me that it will be ready on Wednesday. So, I called them on Wednesday, and they told me that my car is not ready because their Compressor broke. How can a business that depends on Air Compressor for their line of work come to a complete stand-still? How can they have only one compressor and not one for a backup. Haven't they heard of Home Depot? So, I called in sick because I don't have a car and the worst part is I am paid hourly. Now, they tell me my car won't be ready till Thursday. If they were honest, and not trying so hard to lie to customer just to get their business, I would not have any conflict. I could have requested some time off. On Thursday, hmmmm.... to be continued.

Big O Tires - Geary Boulevard is not mission Street. San Francisco has multiple shops Newly renovated and they replaced that former manager who was upsetting folks. Over 150 years experience, the technical staff is great most ASE certified with over 150 years experience.Want it fixed the first time right? Big O Tires Geary is reliable fast and friendly. Ask about the buy three get one free promotion! Mr car needed brakes and they noticed a sway bar loose, which explained the deep roll in extreme turns. Whats so funny the dealer missed that! Now I can take turns fast without worry.

Shameful, dishonest dealership.
Dont stand behind their products.
Sell defective and unreliable Land Rovers.
Outrageously poor service department.
Biggest waste of 50K i've ever experienced.
Save yourself the headache and DONT BUY FROM BRITISH MOTORS.
