This is an excellent smaller hotel located right across the street from Union Square. It has good service and a nice dark bar off the lobby that offers cocktails and some surprisingly tasty pub fare. The restaurant is open for dinner and is very nice as well, although it is priced accordingly.

Clean, spacious cabs, prompt service, polite drivers. They take credit/debit cards. The only thing I don’t like is that you have to give them a local area code phone number, or else they can’t notify you when they’re ready to pick you up.

This is my go-to cab company. They’re all over the place in San Francisco and are punctual most of the time. They accept debit/credit cards. I’ve had some interesting conversations with some of the drivers.

This hotel is still there then I guess. I am surprised. I thought it was changed now to have both sexes. It was ok but not exciting and not especially good. The staff left something to be desired. It had meals then and not that good.

This is an expensive hotel so I am sure people want to get their money's worth. It is a luxury hotel. The food is ok. I worked temp here. he he They had Oz then the disco. I am not sure if it is still there maybe or the name would be changed. Now to other's they might complain for all that money for it to be a regular hotel. It is a good location on Union Sq if you want to be downtown. For others it could be a bit stuffy. It is middle to upper class. I might stay there if I had the money. They were not rude when I was temp there but it was not exactly fun either. For some reason I have had people calling me the typist after this and they do gossip a lot if you work there I have heard. I also went to Oz under another guise and the younger girls did not like it saying it was too square and boring. Another girl seemed to have had a "ball" there. It depends.

Well, I stayed here for a few weeks when I first relocated to SF and it was interesting to say the least! At the time it was $250.00 a week which really is not cheap at all and comes out to $1000 a month which is the same cost of renting a studio here in the city! The rooms are small and consisted of a wicker dresser, shower and restroom, a bed and a microwave. It's more of the things going on outside of this place that freaked me out. I would go out at night and come home to pimps screaming at their prostitutes on the corner of California and Larkin. It was hard to sleep at night with the noise from the street in that area and the windows didn't really allow for much privacy for them! The people who worked here were nice and helpful but I would suggest getting a sublet off craigslist before doing this place. It's not worth the money at all.

I call yellow cab 95% of the time because their phone number is so easy to remember! 333-3333! But sometimes I find that they don't come and I have to call back 20 minutes later. But I blame some of that for living all the way out in the Richmond.

Very old fashioned. The guy yells at customer. They say they offer cheapest fare but it's not true.

I have the pleasure of riding the UCSF shuttles on a daily basis! The shuttles tend to be quite bumpy but my drivers are always pleasant and safe. Kudos for the safe part! The shuttles seem to run on time occasionally being delayed by a few minutes but that doe not happen too often. I have even snuck friends on the shuttles who are not employees or students and they seem to be pretty lenient about this! I can't complain against a free mode of transportation!
