Drew's Plumbing was called out for a quote on a slab leak,was quoted would cost $1,500.00. Next day the quote had risen to $1,600.00.
After discussing this price with the owner, we had agreed to use Drew's plumbing because they were willing to split the payment into 2 payments, after calling to get the work done, a day goes by and no word from the company, when called the next day to find out what's going on, the price had risen to $1,800.00.
This kind of practice IMHO is uncalled for and shows how low some people would stoop to take advantage of other people in today's economic troubling times.
In the end we did not go with Drew's plumbing and I would advise to seek a more professional company that does not attempt to take advantage of other peoples misfortune.
