The School is OK, if you really like working on Aircraft, but, there are better mechanical jobs that cost less to get schooling for, and you will make more money doing. Like, auto, etc.... This place cost 35,000., and most places will only pay 15/hr. to start after getting your A &P at this school. It is 18 months, and the FAA is up the schools butts, cause the school is monitored by the FAA, and the school is being micro managed by a bunch of idiots. The people that work there I feel sorry for, cause sh-- rolls downhill from the corporate office, that really doesn't give a shot in the dark. It is all about the $$$$$, BEWARE!!!!

Loved my French teacher, from Paris! Great methodology, no long-term contract to sign, take as many classes as you like. Great staff, overall I was very happy after having studied at 2 other language schools in Philly---this one is worth it! Merci!

A total Spanish immersion program for Toddlers, Preschoolers, and Young Children. , located in the Philadelphia Metropolitan Area, Blue Bell, PA, and Rosemont, PA, as well as Cherry Hill, NJ, and Princeton, NJ. Under the direction of Marcela Summerville, enrollees enjoy a distinctive Spanish-teaching methodology and curriculum. Summerville is a two-time Parent’s Choice Award-winning author, has been the co-chair for the ACTFL-LLC-SIG (American Council on the Teaching of Foreign Languages) since November 2004 and has been appointed Pennsylvania State Representative of NNELL (National Network of Early Language Learning), where she advocates early language learning. “Where a Good Beginning Never Ends,” a mantra that educational statistics prove holds merit. Indeed, according to the College Board, students who average four or more years of foreign language study scored higher on the verbal section of the SAT than those who had studied four or more years of any other subject matter. Having recently been recognized by the U.S. Commerce Association (USCA) as the "2009 Best of the Blue Bell" in the Language category, innovative programming positions the school to continue its award-winning streak.

this daycare center would definitely get a rating of 5 plus from me. i am the grandmother of 11 now and 7 of the eleven have at one time attended this daycare,4 were attending when the daycare had the tragedy of a fire in which the teachers and owner were praised by everyone including the fire department for the way they got all the children out safely and orderly and notified parents of the situation. The building was destroyed but the children were not only safe but calm thanks to the love and concern of all the wonderful teachers and the owner Ro and our beloved Debbie. These teachers sh9ow so much love and care for all the children that attend. They have a gift for making each child feel so special. I highly recomend this center.

I attended the diploma certification program at the Wine School of Philadelphia in 2009.
I took my Foundation in the Winter and the Global Certificate in the Spring semester. Previously, I had attended the Advanced program through the WSET and I work as the wine buyer for a local restaurant. I would say I have a good base of knowledge to review the school ;)

The school is pretty amazing, I must say. The classes, the teachers, and the location are all excellent. The most important piece, IMHO, is the price. They are cheaper than any other program, and they are so much better. I am not sure how or why that happens, but there you go.

As the founder of the Wine School, I am incredibly biased. Take my "5 star review" with a grain of salt.

What I can say is that we are the biggest independent wine school in the United States, and offer a wide range of programs and classes.

Oh, and we are the best thing since sliced bread. ;)

I wonder how can you say 'best in phila' when you don't have anything to compare it to?

A fire is a tragedy, for sure, and it sounds like under adverse conditions the staff came through like champs. That's nothing to sneeze at.

But the curriculum seems weak. For our taste, we think the teachers are too quick to pop in videos at the end of the day. We could do that, for nothing.

I absolutely must say this is THE BEST in PHILADELPHIA as far as childcare goes and if not the best they can sure give you a run for your money.Ro & Debbi are absolutly an amazing team.My son too attended Alphabet Academy since he was 2(now 8)and was there when the fire happend, and the entire staff handled it sooo well my son didn't really know what was going on at the time - so he was not scared nor affraid. And with ALL the other safe children he too was playing in another building close by.I not only commend this childcare center for just the way they handled that tragedy but because there's no other child care center like Alphabet Academy (beside's children's museams-lol)Thier facilities (the treehouse, space station, aquarium, etc.)are enrichening alone. These guys are doing something amazing not only for our kid's but for our community. And eventhough I say the price is alittlllllllee wow-ish but you can't miss where it's going to-thats why my boy will be with you guys 4ever.The staff is very welcoming, caring, educated & PATIENT-and you can tell because your kid tell's you by their action's. So to the Alphabet Academy family, we lost one beautiful building but wiped away our tears & gained another (and I'm sure theres more to come). Your always in my preys! C U Summer camp 09'-
