I went to more than a dozen schools, looking for the right place to start my martial arts training. The instructors here are knowledgable, and they honestly care about your progression.
Discipline, confidence, self-defense, fun. These are just some of the things that I have gotten out of attending classes at Focus Karate!

I recently booked my wedding at The Philadelphia Quartett Country Club and am so excited for the big day! The place has recently been taken over by a new catering company (P&P Caterers) and they are fabulous! they are willing to work with me and customize everything for the same price! They have also recently re-done the ballroom and let me be honest... IT IS GORGEOUS! Everything is very neutral shades which I love. They have gold curtains and a beautiful gold tin ceiling! The bathrooms are all done in mahogany wood and granite...BEAUTIFUL! There next project is to finish the cocktail room(which does need updating!) but they said that will be finished by January of 2010! They also plan to put a marble gazebo out front of the building! The Club has a golf course which is great for picture taking! They have an adorable little pond with a bridge! There are flowers all over the place! It is truly a beautiful place and in my opinion the perfect place to get married! =) I spent a long time looking for the right place and was over the moon when we found this place! I would highly recommend this place to anyone and everyone! ITS PERFECT!

I recently attended a good friends wedding at the Philadelphia Quartett Club and were very disappointed with the staff and management. The host Jillian along with several servers posed a very disgruntle and impolite demeanor. The so called "manager" of the facility disappeared for the entire night and was at no assistance to any questions. It seemed bothersome to expect them to perform their basic responsibilities. Although the food was good, I was extremely disappointed with the guest services and would not recommend holding a special event here. The hall is inexpensive, but you will end up paying with the poor quality in service and satisfaction. Sadly I hope my first experience here will be the last. :(

We just had our wedding at the Phila. Quartett Country Club room and had a wonderful time. The food and service was excellent, the room looked great. The price was right since we had no help on the wedding payment. My Husband and I give this place 5 stars.

An incredible, if poorly known, instructor, Henry Smith. I've been a member of several schools (corresponding to moves), but this was the best of the best. Truly a diamond in the rough.

Decent layout, wide open with a few twists. Great driving range area and friendly staff. Not bad for an average hacker.

I have visited many fine dojos around the country but this is by far the most welcoming place that I have encountered no matter what your skill level and they practice a very powerful form of the art.

Great school when I was there. Must have moved from 2nd and Market area. I can kick ass because I learned to from there.
