The worst experience ever, in one week I had to change 3 times the car, their cars are old and dirty, they smell, the AC does not work, etc. and the charge to you credit card after you sign the boucher, BE CAREFUL

Do not rent from this company. They have poor customer service and old dented cars that snell.
You can rent one thing and they will give you something else..

Well I just spent an hour writing - in detail - what this horrible bus company did to me and how I was treated and suddenly, it was erased.

I may post again later when I stop fuming over losing my entire rant but I want everyone to know NOT to ever use this bus company. They are rude and have the worst customer service. They make changes at the last possible minute and notify you of the changes in the strangest ways (a fax the morning before I needed the service to notify me of a change. How about a phone call, Franmar??)

Everyone in that office is horrible, except for the one lady that usually answers the phone (her name escapes me). Unfortunately, she usually has to relay the messages from her CEO, Fran, to the customers. Fran (the owner) has no idea what customer service is and the lady in accounting is even worse.

When I talked about how horrible this company was to other companies we partner with, they too had bad experiences with Franmar Bus Company and stopped using them.

I've experience bad customer service in my life but I was literally in shock when I got off the phone with them. I cancelled the bus service and voided the check I was going to give them.

Luckily, someone recommended another bus service in Miami. The event was the next day when I had the blow up with Franmar and was at a loss. I called this other bus service and the owner was the nicest lady, and gave me a RELIABLE bus service at the last minute.

She asked me how much Franmar was charging. I told her and she said, our service is $50 less. I ended up giving her the full amount Franmar was charging just because she was so nice and helped me out at the last minute.

I will not mention the other bus company here; I would love to but I don't want anyone to think I'm from her company. I'll probably just give them an unrelated high review on this site.

Shame on you Franmar! Bad word-of-mouth marketing is the worst thing to happen to a company, and I plan on doing just that.

I have been a customer of Hertz Pool Service for over 12 years and have received the best service. Not only have they kept my pool in perfect shape, they've installed a new pump and even refinished my pool. I have been extremely satisfied with everything!

OK where do I begin...we went to pick up the car (9pm on a Sat. night). The clerk was rude (did not greet us or ask us to take a seat). When I saw the car we were getting (way to small) I immediately asked for an upgrade. I was told I couldn't because ALL the the other cars were reserved (really?). The lot was absoulutely full of cars. So we set of for our trip (to Orlando from Miami) at 5am the following day, only to realize that the engine light was on, the car made a horrible sound and one of the seat belt buckles did not work so my 11 year old could not be strapped in. When we returned the car and complained we were offered a discount on a future rental (are you kidding). Oh by the way, the same cars were still on the lot (remember I was told they were all reserved). I will never rent from this company again!

Do not rent a car from this company. The cars are older models and are full of problems. I rented a car from the Fort Lauderdale Rent Max office and was given a 6 year Ford Taurus that was dirty inside and out. I had body damage plus when you drove over 55 mph the car shook. I called the Fort Lauderdale office to report the problem and ask if I could take the car to the Miami office to have it checked out. I was told that the was fine when the previous driver had it and that Taurus drove rough. Finally, after arguing with the sales person she told me to call the Miami office. I called the Miami office and I was treat really bad by the sales person. He told me he did not have another car for me and could do nothing for me. When I again explained how dirty the car was, he put me on hold and then came back 2 minutes later and told me to bring the car by the Miami office. I was offered another car which was again a Ford Taurus that was at least 4 years old. As I drove off with the car I noticed that the odomdoer and speedmoder was not working. I was so upset by this time I just kept the car because I knew I would not be drive it very much anyway. This car was missing vinyl strips in the interior doors. I drove the car two times and on the third time I went to drive it and the car would not start. When I call the Miami office the young lady that answered try to tell me that I must have left the lights and caused the car to die. I explained that I did not do that and I need to know what to do about the car. She told me to find someone to jump the car and let it run for 30 minutes and it would be fine. I told her that someone from the company needed to come out and check the car because I needed to drive to the airport in the morning for a flight. She told to there was nothing she could do. So I quess in the morning I will get the car towed to FT Lauderdale office and get my free shuttle ride to the airport. Be very aware of this company and what kind of car you are getting. They are not very helpful employees.

I work in Corporate Aviation and travel often. This was without a doubt the best experience ! I extended the rental period 2 days without any hassle and the return was fast and friendly. I will only use Rent Max Car Rental when I need a rental car in Florida from now on ! !
to purchase the tank of gas instead of filling up upon arrival, that was a very good suggestion and was cheaper. And, we were very grateful that the counter agent assisted us immediately and ahead of the long line to split our bill for 2 credit card payments. This was the 3rd time I've used Rent Max Car Rental and will always rent with them first. I am just disappointed that I cannot rent a car in Cleveland, OH at Rent Max Car Rental . Thanks again.

The Vizcaya is amazing. It's like Versailles or something - a magnificent castle in the tropical Miami heat. I've been to a few formal events there and all have been spectacular.

Vizcaya is an amazing place. It is a grand estate with gardens that include a hedge maze, and a main mansion, all located on the water in the heart of Miami. It was built in 1916 by the industrialist James Deering on 10 acres. Well worth a visit if you find yourself in the Miami / Coral Gables area.
