Hi all,
Just moved to Mexico, the experience was very en-lighting, not hard to do, and different from the horror stories that many warned me about.
Surfed the internet on how to move to Mexico and looked for International movers to make it possible. Found that some big companies not only were high priced and slow to deliver, but also did not seem to know the process. When I asked them, they had to get back to me on a later date with the answers, that made me uncomfortable. To cross they use the Texas border, going South into Mexico using the Durango road, witch is very narrow, often not well kept, filled with high mountains, deep cliffs and curves. There is even a section on it called Espinazo del Diablo or Devil's back to describe how dangerous it really is. No way I would risk having all my earthly possessions go on that road. Also read about some smaller movers, they seem concerned on how many cubic feet of things I had. I found out why, the reason was because they only used small trucks with not much room, and all my belongings would NOT fit in them. Their delivery date was tentative, and not binding. Could only find one posted unverifiable testimonial on their company.
Later, I saw lots of verifiable testimonials, and on many sites about this International mover called movingtomexicoguy
I contacted Robert Hudson, right away he sent me a very complete sheet with everything you need when moving to Mexico. He knew the correct answers to what ever I threw at him, he even gave me several moving options.
Picked up my things in Houston, the took them to Nogales. Help me acquire the FM3 rentista for my wife and I plus the Menaje de Casa at the Consulate, in just a few hours. Loaded the Semi that by the way was 48' long.
movingtomexicoguy is very knowledgeable and reasonable priced, most efficient, he also express delivered my things safely with out any problem. He is present during the entire move, and very good at what he does.
I highly recommend Robert Hudson for moving folks from the United States to Mexico, and back to the States.
