Wow, I am amazed at the person who claims to have such a negative experience with Minton's. My experience was absolute delight. I was greeted well, treated exceptionally and had only the best experience. I flew in from Japan, where I live and work, to my hometown of Mobile to prepare for my wedding. I only had a limited time to buy my dress, and I was able to find the dress of my dreams at Minton's. Honestly, to me, it is all about finding the right dress, but my experience with the staff at Minton's was amazing. Time and again I felt the sales associates were going out of their way for me.
I tried my dress on and it fit perfectly, only needing minor alterations. I was able to have it ready in less than three weeks. The sales staff even wrapped the dress in tissue paper and packed it into my suitcase to minimize the wrinkling. After such excellent service I decided to order my invitations through Minton's and they allowed me to take the sample books home to decide. This to me is excellent service. I loved my experience and I just have to say that perhaps some people seek out drama because they enjoy it. Weddings can be stressful, but they don't have to be miserable. Take it from me---Minton's is worth looking into if you want a quality dress and exceptional service.
