Scott, the Master Plumber, Kyle the Journeyman, and his crew all did an excellent job at our house in Ann Arbor in February 2009. We have an early 1900's place on the Old West Side and needed work replacing galvanized plumbing and ancient drain pipes. The quote was lower than two other local competitors by over $1000, and they explained the work and did the job very thoroughly, including fixing some minor odd problems in the basement plumbing and toilet for free. I was very happy with the work, and thrilled to have the househld plumbing at 100%.

I called Metro Air on Saturday night at 2:00 in the morning with no heat. I am sure I woke up their on call guy, but he was courteous, and prompt. They showed up within an hour of my phone call and had my furnace running shortly after. Great job guys! I thought the price was more than fair.

Home Warranty Company recommended this company to come look at my heating problem. My home was only heating up in certain rooms and other rooms were freezing due to lack of air flow. Metro Air sent out someone to come look at the problem. The guy was nice but seemed completely lost when it came to what the source of the problem was. He had to call his boss on the phone to walk him through the steps. In the end I paid $200 for them to tell me what I already knew. Then they recommended that I pay $500-$600 more for them to do a more comprehensive systems check. Overall I felt like I was scammed.

Charges not yet filed against man who had homes stripped Owner free after admitting in April to fencing stolen goods BY BEN SCHMITT FREE PRESS STAFF WRITER November 9, 2008 Wayne County Prosecutor Kym Worthy hasn't filed criminal charges against a Detroit plumbing and heating company owner Bill Heaney, even though he apparently confessed to police six months ago that he worked with drug addicts and others to strip vacant properties of fixtures and materials for at least seven years. Bill Heaney of Heaney Plumbing & Heating on Gratiot was taken into custody by Detroit police in April after an undercover sting recovered more than $200,000 in stolen fixtures and materials. Police needed 12 hours and two tractor trailers to haul away the stolen items -- including 42 water heaters and 27 furnaces. Neighbors stopped by to praise police; some even applauded.

  After getting high quotes from other plumbers, and hearing that they couldn't come the same day, my friend recommended Washtenaw Plumbing and Heating. They came the same afternoon. They were clean, courteous, prompt, quickly fixed the problem, and to boot their bill was less than anyone else's estimate! I recommend them to all of my friends.
