Another classic case of too much government...thankyou John Dingell, who made sure his name was added to the new VA center, ...I took a former roommate, who was a Vet all the way down to Detroit, which , keep in mind, if your a Vet, is the only place you can go to if you are going to use your VA bene's...so off we went for a 50 mile ride!! Oh my lordy...they had to be called back by me, after I drove him all the way down there, bcus the guy was suicidal, they were told that by myself...and him..and they suggested "outpatient" services!!!  If the Government doesn't do something to clean up the mess they created by leaving this part of the goverment dangling in the wind for so long, after this war (Iraq,Afghanistan) We are going to be in a world of hurt with all these Vets coming home with PTSD, depression, etc...not to mention the physically challenged Vets...

The interior is it's saving grace, because the old one, that was for years falling apart at the seams...think WReed in DC....it is a great new building...that's about it!!
