A Friend of the family had a birthday gathering here last night. The sequence was dinner, drinks, and then feather bowling. The Cadieux Cafe is a traditional old bar/restaurant that has remained a staple in an area of Detroit that has been in decline for some time. Famous for their steamed mussels; they’re real good. The other food they serve is pretty good for a bar.
You’ll have about a dozen different beers from Belgium to choose from as well. The Café is also famous for Feather bowling. They have two lanes; they are usually back logged for months, but not so much in the summer. It’s a great place to go for a fun night out

i had heard that there were no good stores in the city. I was thoroughly surprised to find such a clean store in detroit. nicely stocked, good lighting, had good variety of items and also had a small deli with prepared foods. they even carried a chef Emeril spice i was looking for. they didn't have a gluten free bread mix i wanted, but the manager was very nice and told me that he was going to begin stocking some gluten free and casein free items in the near future.

I've been to Ferndale, and Novi, both are very well setup with pool tables and good drink specials. On fridays and saturdays in novi theres always lots of people dancing, which is fun.

Great square pizza. I don't know about you but I like burnt crust. Jets has many locations now so it won't be hard to find one near you.
